Astraseal Mastics Ltd is a family-founded and family-run business with over two decades of experience in professional sealant application. Established in 1999 by Managing Director Andrew Almond, Astraseal began in a garage with a few family members, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. That same spirit continues to drive our company today.
In 2007, we became a limited company and by 2009, expanding demand led us to move into larger premises—allowing us to scale our operations and grow our team. As we’ve evolved, we’ve remained a close-knit business, with family values at the heart of everything we do: trust, reliability, and long-term client focus.
Today, Astraseal Mastics Ltd operates with a team of 18 fully trained mastic sealant applicators and a fleet of 14 vans servicing a wide range of residential and commercial construction projects and along with our dedicated and friendly office team, ensures seamless coordination and client support.

All our operatives are highly skilled and industry-certified, all holding or training towards NVQs in Joint Sealing, CSCS cards, and a range of site-specific accreditations including working at height and MEWP access training. With many of our applicators bringing over 15–20 years of hands-on experience, we consistently deliver work to the highest industry standards.
We’re proud to be the trusted mastic sealant partner for many of the UK’s leading housebuilders including David Wilson Homes, Redrow Homes, Barratt Homes and Taylor Wimpey.
